Maria L. Melendez

Maria L. Melendez, 47, of Bethlehem passed away Thursday December 6, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital.

She was born in Bronx, NY the daughter of the late Wilfredo Calderon and Isabel Ortiz Calderon of Bethlehem.

Maria worked for Access Services Group for six years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her Husband Didiel Ruiz of Bethlehem; daughters, Michele Melendez and Cecelia Ruiz and son Ray Melendez; sisters Olga wife of Jose Gonzalez; Jeanette Calderon and Gladys Calderon all of Bethlehem.

Maria is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Priscilla, Jose Jr. Lianna, Jenny, Divino, Jazelia, Cyan and Jaelyn.

She will be remembered as a loving and giving person that enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children.

A visitation will be held at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem on Monday December 10, 2007 from 6-8PM and again on Tuesday December 11, 2007 from 8-9:15AM

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Infancy Catholic Church 312 E. 4th St. on December 11, 2007 at 10AM.
