Maria M. Leon

Maria M. Leon, 68, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017. Born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Porfiria Fernandez Schmidt and Sergio Santiago Thillet.

Survivors: Her only love, Jose L. Leon, Sr; children, Maria Leon and husband Emil, Ada Leon, Myrelis Leon and Jose Leon and wife Aimee; brothers, Rafael, Francisco and Jose Manuel Santiago; sisters, Norma Fernandez, Ana C. Santiago and Ada I. Ortega; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and son-in-law, David Gonzalez. She was predeceased by her brothers, Antonio and Sergio Santiago.

Services: Viewing hours will be held in the El Shaddai Church, 529 East Broad St., Bethlehem, on Wednesday, Dec. 20 from 6 to 9 p.m. and again on Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. with a 10 a.m. funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Easton.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, may be made to the family and sent in c/o Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018.
