Maria Mercedes Vega

Maria Mercedes (Ramos) Vega, 73, of Bethlehem, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Lehigh Valley HospitalMuhlenberg.

Born August 31, 1948, in Anasco, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Domingo and Dominga (Valentin) Ramos.

Mrs. Vega was a very joyful person and dedicated mother and wife. She loved cooking and gardening.

She was a member of Bethlehem First Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to her parents, Maria is preceded in death by two sisters: Cruz Mendez and Jova Ramos; and one brother: Ramon Ramos.

Maria will be lovingly remembered by her husband of forty-seven years, Roberto Vega; three sons: Roberto, Jr., Antonio, and William Vega; two granddaughters: Joanne Marie Vega and Arianna Vega; four brothers: Victor, Manuel, Jose, and Alberto Ramos; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, on Friday, September 10, 2021, from 9:00am until the time of the funeral service at 10:00am.

Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Easton.
