Marianne V. Solari

Marianne (Vitale) Solari, 80, of Macungie, PA formerly of Bethlehem, passed on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Sacred Heart Senior Living by the Creek. Born May 30, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Grace (Caiozzo) Vitale. Marianne was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Maurice D. Solari.

Family was everything for Marianne. She is the mother of Richard P. Solari and his wife Kimberlee, of Fort Mill, SC and Lorianne Taylor and her husband, Lincoln, of Coopersburg, PA; and the proud grandmother of Alison, Douglas and Paul Solari, Michael and Andrew Smith, and Ethan, Teagan and Elliott Taylor.

Marianne worked as a service representative for Verizon from 1979-2001. She was a member of the Verizon Telcom Pioneers. She was an active volunteer with the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Marianne was a faithful member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bethlehem Township.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home. The family will receive guests at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020 on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 9-10 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Marianne and Maurice at 10 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
