Marie A. Schwartz

Marie A Schwartz, 93, of Bethlehem, died Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Manor Care in Bethlehem. Born in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Paul Kelly and Helen (Gass) Evans. Marie was married to the late Frederick Schwartz.

Marie was dedicated to caring for her family. She was a past member of the Allentown Deaf Club and attended the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf.

Marie will be lovingly remembered by her son Roland Mathers and wife Paula of New Hampshire, step daughter Amelia McCarty and husband John of North Carolina, brothers, Robert Kelly of California and Paul Kelly of Florida, sisters, Nancy Newport of Florida and Betty Zuck of Quakertown, grandchildren, Bryan and Janelle, great grandson, Jordan and many extended family members. Marie was preceded in death by her step father, Marvin Evans and a son, Robert Mathers.

A viewing will be held on Friday November 25, 2016 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 10 AM to 12 PM followed by a funeral service at 12 PM. Burial will be at Nisky Hill Cemetery in Bethlehem.
