Marie B. Cavote

Marie B. Cavote, 88, of Bethlehem died on Monday, September 3, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill. She was born in Bethlehem, daughter of the late Joseph G. and Mary E. (Guman) Begany. She was the loving wife of Joseph A. Cavote. They celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary this past May. Marie dedicated her life to her family and her faith. She was a long time member of the former Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church where she sang in the choir, a member of the Catholic Sokols Wreath #32 and the Legion of Mary. She was also a member of the Tatra folk group and dancers.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Joseph A. of Bethlehem; sons, Joseph R. and wife, Bonnie and Michael and wife, Dorsey, all of Allentown; daughters, Marie Silfies and husband, Jeff of Emmaus and Concetta Dias and husband, Thomas of Bethlehem Twp. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem where a viewing will be held on Friday, September 7th from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Incarnation of Our Lord Church. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
