Marie Bono

Marie Bono, 89, of Whippany, NJ passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021. She was born on January 29, 1932, the daughter of the late Jennie (Rigilano) and Frank Pampinella. She was the devoted wife of the late Thomas J. Bono.

Marie enjoyed cooking, she loved the beach at the Jersey shore and trips to the casino. Her sense of humor and selflessness will be missed by all those who loved her. Marie especially loved family celebrations where she served her famous chicken cutlets and was surrounded by her family and friends.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Kathy Hyland and her husband John of Redlands, CA; sons, Frank Bono and his wife, Betsy of Nazareth Area, PA, and Thomas Bono of Whippany, NJ; sister, Joyce Rotondi husband Richard, and grandchildren, Matthew & Jasmine Hyland, Benjamin and Paige Hyland, Christopher and Laura Bono, F. Desch Bono and Natalie Bono. Marie was preceded in death by her brother, Salvatore Pampinella and sister, Faye Mincevich.

A viewing will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral home.
