Marie E. Morano

Marie E. Morano, 73, of Bethlehem, PA passed away June 1, 2012 in St. Lukes University Hospital, Fountain Hill after a short, but courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Domenic M. Morano, they would have celebrated 53 years of marriage in October. Marie was born in Bethlehem on August 9, 1938, the daughter of the late Teresa and Ernest Hari. Marie was a 1956 graduate of Liberty High School and a 1959 graduate of St. Lukes Hospital School of Nursing. Until her retirement she worked at Holy Family Manor in a staff position and eventually as Director of Nursing. She was a devoted mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Domenic M. Morano; sons, Kevin Morano and Christopher Morano; daughter, Lisa Morano; grandchildren, Taylor, Trevor and Lauren; and sister, Carolyn wife of, Ronald Narzisi.

SERVICES: Arrangements are being handled by Connell Funeral Home and will be private at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

CONTRIBUTION: In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to St. Lukes Cancer Center, Fountain Hill or Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem.
