Marie M. Snell

Marie M. Snell, 97, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Cedarbrook in Fountain Hill. Born on January 12, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Julia (Wargo) and Stephen Popyach. She was the wife of the late George R. Snell. Marie and George were a great and loving couple.

Marie enjoyed volunteering at the Red Cross, working at the Sun Inn Gift Shop and when needed, helping her sister at Wilbur Savings and Loan.

She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Stephen Popyach (Linda) of Kentucky. Marie was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Bauernhuber and her three sisters, Julia Piltman, Amelia Mateff and Janet Popyach. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews who enjoyed taking care of her, 2 great nieces and 2 great-great nephews who enjoyed visiting her.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
