Marie T. Jakubco

Marie T. Jakubco, 85, of Nazareth, Pa. formerly of Bethlehem, passed away on Tuesday April 18, 2017 at St. Lukes Hospital Anderson Campus in Bethlehem, Pa. She was born on February 17, 1932 in Bethlehem, daughter of the late Rocco and Lucy (Guerrieri) Zullo. She was the wife of the late Joseph L. Jakubco. Marie was a secretary for Bethlehem Steel, Votrols Flowers, and Hanover Engineering. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bethlehem. Marie was deeply devoted to her family and enjoyed family gatherings. She also enjoyed going to the casino.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Joanne M. Rooney and husband Michael of Nazareth, sisters, Josephine Allen of Bethlehem, and Yolanda Testi of Shelton, CT, grandchildren Connor James, and Mia Lin. She was predeceased by her sisters, Michaelina Tulio, and Lena DeSieno, and brothers, Anthony Zullo and Ernest Zullo.

A viewing will be held from 10-11am Saturday April 22, 2017 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, Pa. 18020 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 11am. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.
