Marie T. Piff

Marie T. Piff, 95 of Bethlehem died Wednesday April 23rd in Resthaven Nursing Home, York, Pa. She is the wife of the late Louis F. Piff who died in 1955.

Born in Bethlehem she is the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Dolan Gosztonyi.

Marie retired in 1978 after 23 years as a Special Education Teacher at Marvine Elementary School of the Bethlehem Area School District

She had been a long time member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Bethlehem and a member of the Church Sodality.

She is a graduate of Mt. St. Joseph's Academy in Chestnut Hill, Pa., a graduate of Moravian College, Bethlehem and attained her Masters in Education at Lehigh University.

Surviving are her son Frank "Bud" Piff and his wife Deborah of Baltimore, MD, her two grandchildren and six great- grandchildren.

Funeral Services will begin on Monday April 28th at 10:30 a.m. in the Connell Funeral Home 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Anne's Church 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem. Visitation will be on Monday 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
