Marilyn A. Kolar-Wichie

Marilyn A. Kolar-Wichie, 73, of Fountain Hill, passed away on May 5, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. She fought the good fight and is finally at peace.

Born on October 4, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Lorraine (Becker) and Stephen M. Kolar.

Marilyn graduated from Bethlehem Catholic High School and received her bachelors degree from East Stroudsburg University. She loved her two dogs, Missy and Libby, they were her pride and joy. In her spare time, Marilyn enjoyed cooking, reading books, vacationing and gardening, which she was extremely good at.

She will be dearly missed by her husband with whom she would have celebrated 18 years with in June, Thomas Wichie; son, Steve Trumbauer; sister, Roseanne (Robert) DeSilver; niece, Elizabeth (Brian) Baker; two nephews, Matthew (Jen) DeSilver and Jacob (Fianc Ashley Neumeier); uncle, Russ Jones; and several cousins.

There will be a viewing on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a funeral service beginning at 10:45 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be held privately in Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arc of Lehigh and Northampton Counties, 2289 Ave A., Bethlehem, PA 18017.
