Marilyn Geiger, 69, of Nazareth, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022, at St. Lukes Hospital-Anderson Campus.
Born April 26, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Richard and MaryAnn (Fecko) Ackerman.
A graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High Schools Class of 1970, she went on to attend Northampton Community College where she received an associates degree.
Marilyn held a lengthy career in healthcare, serving as a long-time Office Manager for Dr. Robert McCoy, then as a transcriptionist for Coordinated Health, from which she retired.
Outside of work, Marilyn loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was also a sports fan, with a fondness for Penn State, and also held a love for horses.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Marilyn will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Craig Geiger, whom she married May 18, 1974; one son: Doug Geiger and his wife Adria; three grandchildren: Cole, Chase, and Kira Geiger; two brothers: Richard Ackerman, Jr. and Bernard Ackerman and his wife Carey; one sister: Annette Ackerman; sister-in-law: Patricia Yancy and her husband Dennis; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from 10:00am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00am in the funeral home.
