Marion A. Donohue

Marion A. Donohue, 81 of Bethlehem Township, died Saturday, February 3, 2018 in her home. Born April 21, 1936 in Jersey City, NJ she was the daughter of the late Augusta (Redfield) and Clarence Armstrong. She was married to Arthur Donohue, Sr., for 58 years until his death on March 1, 2017.

Marion worked at Northampton Community College retiring in 1990. She was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bethlehem Township where she was a past president of the Ladies Group and Greeter Coordinator.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Margaret Smith(Steven), Irene Follweiler(James), Arthur Donohue, Jr.(Susan), Thomas Donohue, Clare Persing(Thomas) and Paul Donohue(Gail); sister, Margaret Case; her six grandchildren, Jordan, Sean, Jaclyn, Ryan, Kevin and Erin. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Joan Wernicke and Patricia Harding.

Services: A viewing will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. There will be a calling hour on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18020 from 9-11 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help or to the Traffic Club of the Lehigh Valley Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 91362, Allentown 18109 or to St. Lukes Hospice 240 Union Station Plaza 1st Floor, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
