Marion Agnes Ehret

Marion Agnes Ehret, 80, of Hellertown, PA, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021, at her home, surrounded by loved ones.

Born on August 15, 1941, in Allentown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Clara (Dresen) Fistner.

A 1960 graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School, Marion went on to enter the workforce after raising her children. She bartended for many years at Goodwill Fire Company, Bethlehem, and the Hellertown Democratic Club.

Marion enjoyed traveling across the country with her cousins, going on cruises, and traveling to Mexico with her family. She also loved to cook and bake. She was also an avoid bingo player with her long-time bingo buddy, Kathy.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Richard J. Ehret, Sr.; brother: Michael Fistner; and two nephews: Daniel Ehret and Todd Simmers.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son: Richard J. Ehret, Jr. (Susan) of Allentown; daughter: Tracy Jones (J.P. Geary) of Hellertown; sister: Nancy Verbonitz (Tom) of Bethlehem; brother-in-law: George Ehret (Rita) of Bethlehem; granddaughter: Ashley Wolring (Michael) of Bethlehem; two great-grandchildren: Shyann and Kahlan; nephew: Robb Simmers (Jen) and family of Bethlehem; and niece: Jessica Lehr (Glenn) and family of Bethlehem.

A visitation will be held at St. Theresas Catholic Church, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown, PA 18055, on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 10-11:00am, with Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00am in church.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Marion's family encourages all guests to wear a mask indoors during the services.

Interment will follow in Hellertown Union Cemetery, 85 Main Street, Hellertown, PA 18055.

Arrangements are under the care of Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem.
