Marion I. Weaver

Marion Irene Bush Weaver died peacefully at Holy Family Manor Nursing Facility on Monday in Bethlehem, PA at the age of 92. Marion was born on November 2, 1925 in Bethlehem, PA to the late Lottie Moll and Victor Bush. She graduated from Liberty High School in 1944 and was an active alumna, organizing frequent reunions on behalf of her class. She married Paul Weaver in 1946 and after raising their children, Debby and Ron, she worked as a supervisor at AT&T for 20 years.

Marion loved to travel and visited Florida, Hawaii, Venezuela, and Romania. She was an avid photographer, talented tap dancer, dedicated pen pal, active member of East Hills Moravian Church, and loved to spend time with children.

Marions kind, gentle and loving spirit will be remembered by her son Ronald Weaver, sister Eleanor Hallman, granddaughters Jenni and Calli Higgins, and great-grandson Christopher Higgins. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Weaver, daughter Deborah Weaver-Higgins, and siblings Joyce Boksan, Nancy Wagner, Miles Bush, and David Bush.

Calling hours will be held on January 19, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA followed by a burial service at Bethlehem Memorial Park.
