Marion M Hegedus

Marion Mae Hegedus, 82, of Monroe, NC; formerly of Bethlehem, died on Thursday, December 24, 2009 at Elizabeth Gardens Assisted Living in Monroe, NC.

She was born in Allentown the daughter of the late Guy and Helen Wavlek Peters. She was the loving wife of Lewis Hegedus who died in 2002.

Marion was a graduate of Allentown School of Nursing and worked

as a registered nurse for St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem for many years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Keith Hegedus & his wife, Carol, of Mooresville, NC; daughter, Cathie Hegedus of Pittsburgh, PA; and her two grandchildren, Stacy Weiss & Tim Hegedus.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held, Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 10:00a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem. A visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Garden of Peace Cemetery in Whitehall, PA.
