Martha L. Chase

Martha L. “Marno” Chase, 72, of Bethlehem, died on Friday, April 29, 2016. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Churilla) Guman. She was the wife of the late Wasyl “Charlie” Chase. Martha worked as the Director of Finance for Lower Saucon Township for 29 years and retired in 2006.

She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Joseph Guman and wife Virgina, Kathleen Ammend and husband Joseph, Gerald Guman and wife Sach; many nieces and nephews including niece, Nikki Bokan and husband Bryan and their children, Colin & Morgan. She was predeceased by her brothers, Donald and Patrick Guman.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. A 6 p.m. memorial service will follow in the funeral home.
