Martin Ramirez

Martin Ramirez, 78, of Bethlehem, PA died Saturday, May 18, 2013 surrounded by his family in his daughter's home.

Born January 30, 1935 in Caguas, Puerto Rico he was the son of the late, Narciso and Eugenia (Mejias) Ramirez. He was married to Lucia (Benitez) Ramirez for 47 years until her death on March 5, 2007.

Martin worked as a building superintendent for 38 years at the Robert Livingston Building in Brooklyn, NY. He was a simple man who loved gardening, wood working and his NY Yankees.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Elizabeth Ramirez-Sanfeliz wife of Michael, grandchildren, Alexander, Samantha, Ricardo, Jr., Rebecca, Jackie, Idalia and Justin and brother and sister.

Martin was preceded in death by his son, Ricardo Ramirez and three brothers and one sister.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 and again on Thursday from 12-1 PM followed by a service at 1 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be at Bethlehem Memorial Park.
