March 25, 1942 — April 3, 2013

Martin Stephen Weinstein, 71, of Allentown, PA formerly of New Jersey and Arizona died Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Old Orchard Health Services in Easton, PA. Born March 25, 1942 in New Brunswick, NJ he was the son of the late Sylvia (Cheiten) and Raymond Weinstein.

Martin was a proud graduate of Rutgers University, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree and The University of Arizona where he earned two Masters' Degrees in Library Science and Political Science. He left Arizona and moved back to New Jersey to take over his father's business, Lincoln Hardware and Supply in New Brunswick.

Martin was an avid sportsman, outdoorsman, and a world traveler and was a political junky. But aside from all of his passions Martin's favorite thing was his family, especially being "Pop Pop" to his two grandsons.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Craig Weinstein, daughter, Marnie Weinstein Clearie, son-in-law, Daniel Clearie, sister, Lorna Michaelson, two grandsons, Benjamin and Caden Clearie, Nieces, Caren Brennman, Lori Beth Schlinsky and nephews, Michael Wilner and Mark Michaelson.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Wilner and niece, Leslie Michaelson.

A casual graveside service will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Cedar Hill Memorial Park 1700 Airport Rd Allentown, PA 18109 at 1:30 PM. Please join the family at the home of Daniel and Marnie Clearie immediately after the service and on Saturday at the home of Craig Weinstein.

Memorial contributions may be made in Martin's name to the Rutger's University Foundation specify Athletic Department 303 George St. St. 301 New Brunswick, NJ 08901.
