Mary A. Borso

Mary A. Borso, 91, of Bethlehem passed away on Thursday July 18th, 2013 at home. She was born on May 7, 1922 in Bethlehem, daughter of the late John and Mary (Begany) Svirzovsky. She was the wife of the late George R. Borso.

Mary worked in the food service department at Lehigh University. She was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish (formerly Ss. Cyril & Methodius) and a life long member of the Rosary Society. She was an avid bowler and gardener.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Mary Ann Rozsman and husband Nicholas of Greensboro, Ga., son, Francis Borso and wife Regina of Fountain Hill, daughters, Jane Fisk and husband William of Easton, and Kathleen Borso of Bethlehem, daughter-in-law, Susan Borso, 9 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, George M. Borso, and a daughter, Mary Frances Borso.

Services will be held 9:30am Tuesday July 23, 2013 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10am at Incarnation of Our Lord Parish 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18015. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 7-9pm and Tuesday morning from 8:30-9:30am at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
