Mary A. Lennert

Mary A. Lennert, 87, of Bethlehem, died on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Holy Family Manor.

She was born January 24, 1923 in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Matias and Mary Shimko Check.

Mary is survived by her husband Joseph H. Lennert. They would have shared 65 years of marriage on June 9th of this year.

She worked as a Nurse's Aide for several years at Holy Family Manor.

Mary dedicated her life to her family and will be lovingly remembered by her children, Mary Ann and her husband Alfred Umble; Dr. Joseph B. Lennert and his wife Colette; Deanna and her husband Joseph Vesely all of Bethlehem. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Gina Goldman, Joseph C. Lennert, Brett Lennert, and Justin Lennert, Alexandria Vesely and Nathan Vesely as well as five great grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by her daughter, Carol; her son, Richard and her grandson, Royce.

Mary was a parishioner of the former St. John Capistrano Catholic Church, Bethlehem and more recently Mary was parishioner of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Bethlehem. She was also a member of the Sweet Adeline Society and enjoyed sewing and crocheting.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 from 9-10:30 AM at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 11 AM in St. Anne's Catholic Church 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
