Mary A. ?Marion? Peregrin Neupauer, 87 , of Bethlehem, PA
died surrounded by her family on Sunday, July 16, 2006 at Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem.
Born on August 18, 1918, in Detroit, MI , she was the daughter of the late Stephen & Justina Filo Peregrin.
Mary was formerly a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Bethlehem.
She was a member of the Grover Cleveland Democratic Club.
A Bethlehem resident since 1945, Mary worked as a sewing machine operator at the former Laros Silk Mill in Bethlehem from 1946 - 1956, Head of Housekeeping for Muhlenburg Medical Center for 2 years, owned and operated the coffee shop in the Professional Building at 35 E. Elizabeth Ave. for 8 years and worked in the housekeeping department of Moravian College for 3 years.
She is survived by a daughter Christine, wife of Luke Cunningham of Bethlehem, and two sisters, Theresa Curran and Justine Emerson, both of Westfield, Ma. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Michael Trapp and his wife Sue, Linda Pacifico and her husband Robert, Susan Szilagyi and her husband Jeffrey, Carol Kachmarsky and her husband Mark and William Trapp and his girlfriend Tracy Lukens, and 10 great grandchildren.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Stephen Peregrin and three sisters, Margaret Coach, Amelia Gomez and Jennie Bedard.
Visitation will be at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem on Tuesday, July 18 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 19 from 8:30 Am - 9:30AM. Funeral Services will begin at Connell Funeral Home on Wednesday 9:30 AM and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Ss Simon & Jude Catholic Church at 10:00 AM
Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
