Mary Alice Kendy

Mary Alice Kendy, 59, of Stockertown, died on Friday, January 16, 2009 at St.Luke's Hospital.

She was born in Berkley, CA on December 7, 1949; the daughter of the late Manuel F. and Catherine Conway Contente.

Mary Alice was a 1968 graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School.

She worked as a Real Estate Agent for several years prior to taking a position with LabCorp.

Mary Alice is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, John G. Beemer, Jr. of Stockertown.

She will also be lovingly remembered by her son, Ryan P. Kendy of Bethlehem; her sister Madeline, wife of Louis Kauffman of Bethlehem; her Nephew Louis M. Kauffman of Bethlehem and her niece, Lynn Kauffman Sands, wife of Henry Sands of Maplewood, NJ and her great niece and nephew Victoria and Zachary Sands.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 from 7-9 PM at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem and again on Thursday, January 22, 2009 from 9-10 AM with a ceremony to celebrate Mary Alice's life to follow immediately at 10 AM in the funeral home.

Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
