Mary Ann Kametz

Mary Ann Kametz, 87, of Bethlehem died on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. Born in Bethlehem on October 5, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Domian) Nemchick. She was the loving wife of the late John "Jack" M. Kametz.

Mary Ann was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School and Allentown Business School. She was a parishioner of Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and was a member of their seniors club. Mary Ann adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and nothing brought her more joy than to be with them.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, John R. (Debra), of Hellertown; Jane of Bethlehem and Paul (Diane) of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Jonathan, Melissa, Jared, Christine, Jeffrey, Michael, and Matthew and 13 great-grandchildren. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Nemchick; sister, Margaret Rahn and 3 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 9-10:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a funeral service to begin at 10:30 in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lehigh Valley Humane Society, 640 Dixon St. Allentown, PA 18103.
