Mary C. Labuda Reisteter, 90 of Bethlehem, Pa. died Saturday at Sacred Heart Senior Living Center in Center Valley, Pa.
Mary was the wife of the late Stephen P. Reisteter who died in 2002.
Born in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Mary A. Mizak Labuda.
She was a graduate of Rudmar Beauty School in 1941 and attended Bethlehem Business School. She was a hair stylist at Rofee's Beauty Salon in Bethlehem and a long time employee of the Bethlehem Steel Corporation retiring in 1983 as a clerk in the Mail Department.
Mary was an officer of Branch # 89 of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies' Association for over 50 years.
She was a member of Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church in Bethlehem.
Surviving are her son Stephen W. and his wife Johanna of Bethlehem, her two daughters: Susan C. wife of Gehard Ehrenspeck of Silver Spring, Md. and Mary K. wife of Eric Weidenhof of State College, Pa. She is also survived by her brother Francis "Sam" Labuda and her sisters: Agnes Stephan and Cecelia Zakeski all of Bethlehem, Pa. She will be especially missed by her five grandchildren Kirsten, Emily, Lisa, Megan and Eric.
Mary was preceded in death by her brother Joseph and sister Helen Galgocy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday Oct. 17th at 11:30 a.m. in SS. Simon and Jude Catholic Church 730 West Broad Street Bethlehem.
A calling period will be in the church on Satruday 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.
Memorials may be mad in Mary's name to St. Francis Friary 3918 Chipman Road Easton Pa or to SS. Simon and Jude Church.
