Mary C. Zebrowski

Mary C. Barback Zebrowski , 87, of Bethlehem,

died Monday, March 16, 2009 at Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem.

Born May 2, 1921 in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late

Stephen and Helen Kosenic Barback. Mary's husband of 55years, Alexander "Alex" J. Zebrowski, died March 2, 2001

Mary was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish, Bethlehem and had been a longtime member of the former St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bethlehem. She also had often attended Mass at the former SS Cyril & Methodious Parish.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and was especially fond of family gatherings at the Barback homestead in Miller Heights. She was employed for 37 years as a salesperson in the women's sportswear department at the former Hess Brothers Department Store in Allentown. She greatly enjoyed the camaraderie and interactions with her many co-workers and customers, many of whom remained lifelong friends.

She will be missed by her loving son Greg and Carol Kinney of Bethlehem, sisters Helen Posavek, Theresa Sandor, Rose Svajko and Josephine Benko all of Bethlehem, daughter-in-law Marian Zebrowski, grandchildren Maria Reinik and Charlene Augello and great grandchildren Giuliana and Tomas Augello.

She was predeceased by a son Charles in 2005, brothers Peter and Stephen Barback and a sister Anna Krajci.

Visitation will be at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, March 19, 2009 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday, March 20 from 8:30AM - 9:30AM. Services will begin with prayers at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Incarnation of our Lord Parish at 10:00 AM.

Burial will follow in Holy Saviour Cemetery.
