Mary E. Chapo

Mary E. Tevald Chapo, 97 , of Atlanta, GA, formerly of Bethlehem died on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Roswell Nursing & Rehab Center in Roswell, GA

She was the daughter of the late Mathias and Margaret Pittner Tevald and the widow of Louis S. Chapo who died in 1987. They were married in 1933.

Mary was also predeceased by her daughter Patricia Ann Vander Wiele who died in April of 1965 and a brother Mathew Tevald and a sister Rose Madel.

Mary was a former member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, the former Bethlehem Steel Club and a charter member of the Sodality at St. Anne's Catholic Church.

Mary will be lovingly remembered by her son-in-law John R. Vander Wiele and wife, Doris, of Atlanta, GA, grandchildren Christina V. Holcomb and husband David,

Alicia V. Casucci and husband Jeff, and John R. Vander Wiele, Jr and wife Emily; great grandchildren

Lauren Holcomb, Katelyn Holcomb, Joseph Casucci, Robert Casucci, Isabelle Casucci, Jeffrey Casucci, Jack Vander Wiele, Megan Vander Wiele; sister-in-law, Clara Tevald; nephews Matthew Tevald Jr,, and Michael

Madel, nieces Peggy Sorensen, Rosemarie Kenyon, Susan Tevald and Ann Marie Carr.

Friends may call on Wednesday, June 24, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018.

Prayers at 10:00 AM in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave., Bethlehem, PA
