Mary E. Svirbely

Mary E. Svirbely, 84, of Center Valley, formerly Bethlehem, PA died Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Sacred Heart Senior Living Saucon Valley in Center Valley, PA.

Born April 22, 1925 in Elizabeth, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Irene Meyers and Elbert Nostrand, Sr. She was married to Edward Svirbely for 33 years before he passed away in 1991.

Mary was a lifelong member of Notre Dame Catholic Church in Bethlehem. She was a member of the 55 Plus club at Notre Dame. Mary was also very active in the Sacred Heart Assisted Living Community.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Suzanne wife of Rick Beuttel of Macungie, PA, grandchildren, Ryan and Maura, daughter, Mary wife of Raymond Gotta of Patchogue, NY, grandsons, Nicholas and Frank, great granddaughter, Riley Noel, son, Edward T. Svirbely and wife Belinda of Hershey, PA, grandsons, Nicholas, Alex, and Matthew

Mary was preceded in death by her brother Elbert Nostrand, Jr.

SERVICES

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday June 1, 2009 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd., Bethlehem at 11 AM. A viewing will be held in the church prior to the Mass from 10-11 AM.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mary's name to the American Lung Association 2121 City Line Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18017.
