Mary E. Turnbach, 82, of Bethlehem died Sunday, March 30, 2008 in her home.

Born July 5, 1925 in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth M. O'Donnell and John R. Turnbach.

Mary worked for the former Bethlehem Steel as a secretary in the Traffic Department. Mary was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church where she was very active. She taught CCD classes for Holy Infancy and was also a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. Mary participated in the church's Cursillo Movement.

She will be lovingly rememebered by sister Suzanne, with whom she resided, brothers; James F. Turnbach and wife Loretta of Clinton, Mich., and F. Richard Turnbach and wife Barbara of Bethlehem. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers John P. Turnbach and Joseph Turnbach, sister, Rosemarie Turnbach.

A viewing will be held Friday, April 4, 2008 from 7-9 PM at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 and again Saturday, April 5, 2008 from 9-10 AM at Holy Infancy Catholic Church 312 E. 4th St. Bethlehem, PA 18015 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in the church. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Mary's name to the church.
