Mary Elizabeth Lilak

Mary Elizabeth Lilak, 90, of Bethlehem, died on Wednesday, February 17, 2016. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Lilak. Mary was a retired Lt. Colonel from the U.S. Army Nursing Corps, having served in both WWII and Vietnam. She was also a Supervisor at Walter Reed Army Hospital and Valley Forge. She was a member of St. Ursula Catholic Church.

She will be lovingly remembered by her niece, Kathleen w/o Victor Novak. She was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph Lilak Jr. and Stephen Lilak; and niece, Stephanie Reyes.

A 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Feb. 20, at St. Ursula Catholic Church, 1300 Broadway, Bethlehem. Burial with military honors will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Offer condolences online at www.connellfuneral.com
