Mary H. Kolman Bambu, 91 , of Bethlehem, died on Monday, November 10, 2008 at her Residence in Bethlehem.

Mary was the born in Bethlehem, and was the daughter of the late Louis and Julia Gemendli Kolman and the wife of the late William A. Bambu who died October 17, 2005 and was married to for 69 yers.

Mary was a member of the former St. Joseph Catholic Church on 5th St. in South

Bethlehem, and now is a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Mary worked for the former August F. Nielsen and Co. as a gripper operator retiring in 1982 after 32 years service. Mary was the first women to become a member of the Jefferson Democratic Club.



Mary will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Mary Ann Bambu of Bethlehem, a sister of Theresa Leashefski of Bethlehem, and daughter in law Kathy Bambu of Bethlehem two grandchildren, three great grandchildren.

Mary is predeceased by her parents, husband, William A. and son William L. Bambu, four brothers Steven, Frank, Louis and Charles Kolman and a sister Anna Bitler.

Friends may call on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Thursday, November 13, 2008 from 8:30 AM to 9: 30 AM at Connell Funeral Home, Inc.245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Anne's Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave., Bethlehem.
