Mary J. Bruno

Mary J. Bruno, 94, of Bethlehem, died on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Michael and Bertha (Baran) Sorokas. She was the devoted wife to George F. Bruno who died in 1976.

Mary was employed by Conestoga Co. for 20 years as a bookkeeper. She retired in 1978. She was a former member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church and more recently a parishioner of St. Ursula Catholic Church. Mary was a member of the National Sokols Wreath 66 and past president of the Fountain Hill American Legion Auxiliary.

Mary will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Rose H. Spirk and husband, Albert of Lenhartsville; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017, at 10 a.m. at St. Ursula Catholic Church, 1300 Broadway, Bethlehem, PA 18015. A visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. in the church. Burial will be at Holy Saviour, Bethlehem.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels.
