Mary Jane D. Rheiner

Mary Jane D. (Burkhardt) Rheiner, 82, of Bethlehem, passed away into the loving arms of the Lord peacefully at home; on Saturday, June 14, 2014.

Mary Jane was employed for many years at Aetna Insurance. She was an avid Nascar fan, but an even bigger fan of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Suzanne Ney, wife of David; Mary Smith and Kathleen Rheiner; her son, James Rheiner, husband of Louise; her sister, Elizabeth Rowan and brother, William Burkhardt. She was a loving grandmother to six grandchildren and loving great grandmother of six. Mary Jane will be greeted in heaven by her two loving sons, Thomas and John and her parents Anna and Leonard Burkhardt.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 11-11:30 AM with a service to immediately follow at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Interment will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o the funeral home.
