Mary Kathleen Waldron

Mary Kathleen E. Waldron, 83, of Barto, PA formerly of Allentown passed away on Tuesday January 21, 2025. She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late John and Wilma (Parry) Egan. Kathy, as she was best known, was a teacher in the Allentown School District for many years. She graduated summa cum laude from Cedar Crest College and received her master's degree from Lehigh University. She was a voracious reader, a crossword afi_i_n_do and an unapologetic consumer of British murder mystery programs.

Kathy adored her grandchildren, Ali, Meghan, Gabi, Maeve and Finn, and her great grandchildren, Blayke and Michael and one that is on the way.

Kathy will be lovingly remembered by her son, John Waldron and wife Jessica, daughter, Ellen Braun and husband Eric, son, Andrew Waldron, brother, William Egan and wife Marie and her sister, Anne Marie Henderson. She was predeceased by her brothers, Jack Egan and Joseph Egan.

A viewing will be held from 10-11am on Thursday January 30, 2025, at Notre Dame Catholic Church 1861 Catasauqua Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18018 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. The burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
