Mary Kovacs

Mary Kovacs, 93, of Allentown, died on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Skubenich) Skrip. She was the loving wife of the late Louis Kovacs, who died in 2000. They were married 60 years. Mary was employed the Warner/Laros Co. of Bethlehem where she worked in the office for many years. She was a former member of Ss. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Carole Sullivan of Macungie and Marylou Renaldo and her fianc Robert E. Ward of Slatington; brother, George Skrip of Florida; grandchildren, Brent Strohm and Courtney wife of Patrick Taggart; and great granddaughter, Skylar Taggart. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Michael, John, Charles, Peter, Andrew and Joseph; and sisters, Ann Petraitis and Helen Rosko.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem. All services will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Luke's Hospice House and sent to the St. Luke's Development Office, 801 Ostrum St. Bethlehem, 18015.
