Mary L. Cabrera

Mary L. Cabrera, 76, of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, May 16, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Robert T. and Marcella (Carr) Hart. She was happily married to Richard Cabrera. They celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary this past February.

Mary worked in the accounts payable department at Bethlehem Steel and retired from B. Braun Medical after 30 years. She was the co-founder of the Hurricane Wrestling Club, enjoyed watching Liberty Wrestling and talking to the referees. She enjoyed traveling cross country in their Motor Home and camping in the Poconos. Mary loved doing crafts, sewing, golfing and bowling. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Mary will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Richard; sons, Richie and wife, Sandy, Thad and wife, Tina; four grandchildren, Nicole, R.J., Chelsea and Anthony; great-grandson, Joshua Rivera; three brothers, Robert Hart, John Hart and Bernie Hart; and one sister, Marcella Bitler, wife of the late, Kenneth Bitler.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and again on Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Hurricane Wrestling Club, 2106 Aster Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18018 or St. Lukes Hospice, c/o Development Office, 801 Ostrum St. Bethlehem, PA 18015.
