Mary Luther

Mary Ballek Luther, 91, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem. Born December 30, 1916 in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Frances Koroscz and Joseph Ballek. She was married to the late Alex Luther.

Mary was a member of St. John's Windish Lutheran Church in Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Donald Luther of Knoxville, TN; and Alex Luther of Santa Maria, CA; sister, Irene Perinotto of Emmaus; nephew Richard Perinotto of Emmaus; niece Barbara, wife of Robert Chavez of Maryland; grandniece, Francoise Elwood Rohrbach of Macungie, PA; two grandchildren, Jennifer Sandler of Prior Lake, MN; Christopher Luther, USMC, Iraq; four great-grandchildren, Alex and Matthew Sandler of Prior Lake, MN and Derek and Kyle Luther of Kailua, HI.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Luther, brothers, Stephen and Joseph Ballek and a sister, Anne Ballek.

Services: A graveside Service will be held Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery in Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary's name to St. John's Windish Lutheran Church, 617 East Fourth St. Bethlehem, PA 18015.
