Mary Posukonis

Mary Posukonis, 94, of Upper Nazareth Twp, formerly of Spruce St., Hellertown, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Gracedale. She was the wife of the late Anthony Posukonis. Mary was born in Wilkes-Barre on November 13, 1930 to the late Leon and Mary (Drugotch) Gawlick. She worked at Forte Neckwear Company in Bethlehem but found her true calling as a homemaker, where she devoted herself to her family. Mary was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

Survivors: children: Anthony (Debbie) Posukonis of Whitehall, Maryellen (Jonathan) Kabay of Harrisburg, Robert J. Posukonis of Portland, OR; brother: Charles Gawlick of Whitehall; sister: Carol Ann Gawlick of Wilkes-Barre; granddaughters: Vanessa Kabay, Megan Posukonis, Haley Posukonis. Predeceased by siblings: Norman Gawlick, Leon Gawlick & David Gawlick

Service: Family and friends are invited to her viewing 9:00-10:00am Saturday, January 4, 2025 at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem followed by an Office of Christian Burial with Divine Liturgy at 10:30am, at Saints Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, 1140 Johnston Drive, Bethlehem.
