Mary R. Desmond

Mary R. (Garcia) Desmond, 74, of Bethlehem, PA died on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at St. Josephs Hospital in Reading, PA. Born October 13, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late Mary (McShane) and Quentin Garcia. Mary is survived by her husband, John J. Desmond, son, Robert Desmond, daughter, Pamela Desmond, brothers, Quentin Garcia and Richard Garcia and a sister Cathleen Napolitano.

A viewing will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Notre Dame Catholic Church 1861 Catasauqua Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18018 at 11 AM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mary's name to Make a Wish Foundation of Greater Pennsylvania 707 Grant St. Pittsburgh, PA 15219-1916
