Mary R. Stengel

Mary R. Stengel, of Bethlehem, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Josephine (Ventura) and John DeSentis. She was the loving wife of the late Eugene W. Stengel.

Mary was a member of the Church of the Assumption, B.V.M. in Colesville. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching the Eagles and Phillies.

She will be remembered by her son, Robert J. Schock and his wife Dolores; brother, Albert DeSentis; 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, Julius DeSentis and Ernest DeSentis and sisters, Margaret Caravello, Antoinette Curzi, Anne Reichard and Rose Bailey.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 10-11 a.m. at the Church of Assumption B.V.M. 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike, Bethlehem, PA 18015. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of Assumption B.V.M.
