Mary S. Ackerman

Mary S. Ackerman, 91, of Bethlehem Township died on Tuesday November 27, 2007 at St.Lukes Hospital.

She was born in Lehighton, the daughter of the late Gabriel Carl and Mary Legath Stangl.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, Francis F. Ackerman.

Mary worked as a Nurses Aide at St. Luke's Hospital and Moravian Kings Daughters Home.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Miller Heights where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society.

Mary will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Frank J. Ackerman and wife Bonnie of Bethlehem and David G. Ackerman and wife Lori of Bethlehem Township, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, and one brother Edward Stangl.

She was preceded in death by her infant son Richard and four brothers Frank, Joseph, John, and Herman Stangl.

A visitation will be held at Connell Funeral Home, Inc 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem on Saturday December 1, 2007 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. A service will be held in the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. Sacred Heart Catholic Church 1817 First St. Bethlehem Twp. 18020.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem, PA
