Mary Soffera

Mary J. Soffera, 86, of Bethlehem, died on Sunday, June 2, 2013. She was born May 30, 1927 in Bethlehem; daughter of the late Frank and Theresa (Korpics) Repnyek. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Francis A. Soffera.

Mary was a parishioner of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church. She dedicated her life to her family and will be dearly missed by her daughters, Rita Fogle and Christine Bullinger and her husband, Sean all of Northampton and son, William A. Bedics and his wife, Lynne of Emmaus as well as her five grandchildren, James, Joseph, William, Mary Lynne and Robert. Mary was predeceased by her sister, Josephine Capuano and brothers, John Lutseo, Steve, Frank, Harry and William Repnyek.

Mary enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo.

A visitation will be held at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 7-9 PM and again on Thursday from 10:30-11:30 AM with a funeral service to immediately follow in the funeral home. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Memorial contributions may be made to Manor Care c/o Activities Dept. 2029 Westgate Dr. Bethlehem, PA 18018.
