Mary T. Ammend

Mary T. Ammend, 90, died on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at her residence in Bethlehem.

Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Veronica Mingora Kuruc.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Henry R. Ammend on May 1, 2001.

She was an excellent seamstress and worked in the local garment industry. Mary also worked in the Canteen at the Saucon Valley Country Club.

Mary will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Marilynn R. wife of Ronald Krial of Frenchtown, NJ and son, James R. Ammend of Bethlehem as well as her grandchildren, James, Kevin, and Rosemarie and Great Grandchildren, Skyler, Cecelia, and Anastasia. Mary is also survived by her brother John Kuruc of Bethlehem.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sophie, Ann and Irene as well as a brother Charles.

Mary was a lifetime member of the Little Helpers of Good St. Anne, and was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

A Visitation will be held at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem on Friday October 26, 2007 from 7-9PM and again on Saturday October 27, 2007 from 9-9:30AM in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Saturday at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 417 Carlton Ave. Bethlehem at 10AM.

Interment will take place at Holy Ghost Cemetery, Bethlehem
