Mary T. Gower

Mary T. Gower, 96, of Bethlehem, died Wednesday, February 08, 2017 at Westminster Village in Allentown. Born August 29, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Harry and Marjorie (McGarvey) Tachovsky.

Mary was a secretary at Lehigh University. She was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church in Bethlehem. She dedicated her life to raising her sons.

Mary will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Michael Gower and wife, Barbara, Stephen Thomas Gower and Timothy William Gower, brothers, Harry F. Tachovsky and Dr. Thomas Tachovsky and wife, Barbara, sister, Betty Kline and husband, George, seven grandchildren, Christa, Eric, Lisa, Cathy, Scott, Kimberly and Allison and three great grandchildren, Hanni, Michael, Emily, Charlie and Quinn.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 9:30-10:30 AM followed by a service at 10:30 AM. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Marys name to Notre Dame Catholic Church 1861 Catasauqua Rd., Bethlehem, PA or to Westminster Village 803 North Wahneta Street, Allentown, PA 18109.
