Mary T.K. Freeh

October 10, 1921 — November 12, 2008

Mary T. Kilgour Freeh, 87 of Upper Saucon Township died Wednesday morning at her home surrounded by her family.

She and her husband John J. Freeh, Sr. celebrated their 57th anniversary this past March.

Born in Bethlehem, she is the daughter of the late John and Irene Holmes Kilgour.

After graduating from Bethlehem Catholic High School in 1940 and continuing her education at the former Bethlehem Business College she worked at the Bethlehem Steel Company in the Employment & Training office for 12 years. While raising her family, she worked part-time as a Secretary at Lehigh University Language Arts Department.

Mary was a loving wife and mother who created a welcoming home for extended family and friends. She was devoted to the Blessed Mother, loved music, traveling to visit her children and was the center of her family. She simply loved everyone and was beloved by many.

She and her husband were members of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Colesville, Pa.

Surviving with her husband is her son: John and his wife Alice of Center Valley, Pa. her daughters: MaryBeth Freeh, Susan Freeh, Kathy wife of Thomas Farris and AnnLouise Freeh, all of Bethlehem. She is also survived by her brother James Kilgour of Bethlehem and her sister Loretta Resetco of Downington, Pa.; and her six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Jack and Robert and her sisters: Kathryn, Gertrude and Irene.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday Nov. 15th at 10:30 a.m. at Assumption BVM Church, 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike, Colesville, Pa. Visitation will be held on Friday evening 7:00 p.m.to 9:00 p.m. at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem and on Saturday 9:15 a.m.to 10:15 a.m. at the Assumption Church.

Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

Memorials may be made in Mary's name to Sacred Heart Hospital 412 Chew Street Allentown, Pa.
