Maryann Arechiga

MaryAnn Arechiga, 74, of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, July 30, 2016. She was born December 8, 1941 in Bethlehem; daughter of the late Bernard and Hilda (Brunner) Brugger. MaryAnn was preceded in death by her husband, Hector M. Arechiga.

MaryAnn was a 1959 graduate of Liberty High School. She worked for Hesss Department Store for four years prior to taking a position at the former Western Electric. She was a parishioner of St. Annes Catholic Church, where she and her husband were members of Marriage Encounter. MaryAnn enjoyed decorating her house and she loved flowers; landscaping her yard as an English Garden.

She was the loving mother to her son, Richard Arechiga of Emmaus; and is also survived by her cousins, nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to The Connell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Annes Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017 with a Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow. Inurnment will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
