Maryellen Bennicoff

MaryEllen Bennicoff, 66, of Whitehall, died on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at L.V. Hospital. She was born September 20, 1949; daughter of the late Nicholas and Helen (Zapatosky)Kostick.

MaryEllen was a graduate of Allentown Hospital School of Nursing and up to very recently was still active with the alumni association. She loved children, and dedicated 46 years of her life to helping kids as a pediatric nurse at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

MaryEllen will be dearly missed by her daughter, Cara Bennicoff; step-daughters, Arlana Corrocher and Therese Peters and step-son, Charles Bennicoff; brothers, Thomas Kostick and Joseph Kostick and his wife, Teresa; granddaughter, Brianna Bennicoff; step grandchildren, Ammie Bushell; Shawn Davidheiser; Patric Corrocher; Cassandra Schneck; Joshua and Connor Bennicoff; and Amber Flora; and several step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her best friend and furry companion, Roxy.

The Connell Funeral Home is honored to assist with services for MaryEllen. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Cathedral of St. Jude, located at Church of the Manger UCC, 1401 Greenview Dr. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the church. Interment will be held at Arlington Memorial Park.
