Mayme M. Morgan

Mayme M. (Fidler) Morgan, 97, of Bethlehem died peacefully Sunday, March 17, 2013 surrounded by family at Cedar Brook-Fountain Hill. Born May 28, 1915 in Shamokin, PA she was the daughter of the late Margret (Crossland) and Walter E. Fidler, Sr. She was predeceased by her husband Foster D. Morgan, Sr. who died June 19, 2003, they would have been married 68 years in August 2003.

Mayme was a homemaker all her life. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Bethlehem. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Rose Croix Chapter formerly the Jessie K Berlin Chapter, where she served as a Worthy Matron from 1969-1970.

Mayme will be lovingly remembered by her, daughter, Margaret "Peggy" C. Morgan of Bethlehem, son, Foster D. Morgan, Jr. and daughter-in-law Karen M. of Allentown, grandchildren, Daniel M. Moser of Bethlehem, Kimberly A. Morgan and friend Robert Kern, II of Allentown, Patricia D. Acker and husband Peter D. of Nobelsville, IN and David C. Morgan of Chesapeake, VA and fiance Celisha Racicot of Pownal, VT, three great granddaughters, Lorelei Marie Moser, Jenna Marie Moser and Dakota August Morgan Acker, brother, Walter E. Fidler, Jr. and sister, June E. Kline both of Shamokin and several nieces and nephews.

Mayme was preceded in death by her brothers, William J. and Robert J. Fidler.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 10-11 Am followed by a service at 11 AM. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Memorial Park.

Memorial Contributions may be made in Mayme's name to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 514 Third Avenue, Bethlehem, PA 18018.
