Michael A. Takacs

Michael A. Takacs, 75, of Bethlehem, passed away on September 24, 2022 at St. Lukes Anderson Campus. He was the son of the late Raymond and Anna (Krasnai) Takacs. He was married to Elaine (Redman) Takacs for 55 years.

Mike served in the US Navy and Naval Reserves. He then worked for the Bethlehem Steel in the Coke Works Division. And was later a volunteer at St. Michaels Cemetery for over 30 years.

Mike was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish.

Mike will be lovingly remembered by his wife Elaine Takacs, his son Michael S. Takacs and wife Bernice; grandchildren Kevin and Kaylie; brothers, Raymond Takacs Jr, Eugene Takacs and wife Carmen and Joseph Takacs; as well as many nieces and a nephew.

He was predeceased by his parents; sister, Ann Bogert: sister-in-law, Maryann; and niece, AnnMarie Takacs.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 1 from 10-11am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 3219 Santee Rd, Bethlehem 18020 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
